rezemo now available at progros
A great opportunity for the small capsules: Since April 1, 2022, rezemo's sustainable coffee capsules have been available from the hospitality purchasing center progros. This gives rezemo access to an exclusive circle of over 900 of the highest-revenue hotels, hotel groups and restaurateurs from Europe.
In recent years, wooden coffee capsules have made their way into more and more hotel rooms, such as those of Lindner Hotels AG, THE GRAND Ahrenshoop, and most recently Koncept Hotels. But there is great motivation to convince other hotels and hotel groups of the benefits of sustainable coffee capsules, and the best way to do this is through progros . According to the company, a purchasing volume of around €150 million is achieved via the central purchasing platform with around 17,000 active online users. For hotel employees, progros is an everyday work tool that provides holistic solutions for purchasing, digitization, and billing, all under advantageous conditions. Furthermore, progros checks each of its suppliers using the ISO-certified quality system (ISO 9001:2015, DEKRA), thereby guaranteeing trust among its customers.
How rezemo made it to progros
Managing director Stefan Zender and sales representative Tobias Günther tried for a long time to get rezemo included in the progros business. Ultimately, Marcus Smola, head of Best Western Hotels in Central Europe, drew progros' attention to the young company and thus led progros to propose the partnership. This is an example of how indispensable positive references are in the hotel industry, which is why rezemo, as a new progros partner, hopes for further network effects in the future.

According to Otto Lindner, Managing Director of Lindner Hotels, the wooden coffee capsules impress with their price, sustainability, quality, taste and logistics. Because rezemo takes its goal of implementing sustainability in all its aspects seriously: rezemo does not use aluminum or fossil plastic in its capsules. Instead, the start-up relies on the renewable raw material wood, which is obtained in the form of sawdust from sustainable forestry. Embedded in a matrix made of bioplastic, the footprint of the capsule is optimized. The rezemo coffee also exceeds all expectations: at the highest level of taste, they give hotel guests unforgettable taste moments.
Now it is up to the hotel customers of the progros platform to choose the sustainable path and set an example.
